Who will you be working with?
You will be working with our site MD and his management team, Site Engineer team and RTPE Engineer team and Operation team.
How will you make a difference?
As an Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you play a crucial role in defining and optimizing our Electromechanical Relay production processes, with a keen eye for cost savings, efficient productivity, quality and safety.
Every day you will work on production improvements, optimization of workstations, supporting international colleagues with technical challenges and explaining to an operator how to work most efficiently to make optimal use of a machine. You will lead Capacity and Quality improvement activities for existing products, including upgrading or designing and implementing new jigs/tools, continue upgrade standard operating procedures and optimize testing regimes. And You will support the Quality department and customers audit, to maintain and upgrade quality systems, control plans, risk assessment.
What do we want to know about you?
Engineering Degree in Manufacturing or Operations or Mechanical or Electromechanical or other relevant subjects.At least 10 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in relevant setting for example Relays, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Switches. Or, at least 10 years experience of relevant manufacturing techniques such as stamping, forming, moulding, plating and manual assembly of small partsHas Lean and process improvement qualification.What will your typical day look like?
Maintain the manufacturing processes of existing products, optimising yield, and minising cost.Technical leadership and coordination of MSC Manufacturing.Technical leadership and coordination of New Product Introduction Projects, advising the Design & Development team about Design for Manufacturing aspects and then supporting their induction and ramp-up phases.Providing technical input to Sourcing Projects that optimize the supply chain of critical components.Providing technical input to Product failure investigations, identifying manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.Creating and maintaining manufacturing data such as bills of material (M-BoM) and standard operating procedures.Collecting and analyzing manufacturing and testing data to control the manufacturing process, identify issues and drive improvements.Maintain and expand production capacityContinue improve all productions toolsImplemented TPMDevelop new tools for either expand or upgrade production toolsWho are we?
