Our Wabtec Young Touchstone team combines knowledge of our customers’ product platforms/processes with industry expertise to deliver unparalleled product solutions. Here you’ll interact daily with all support team functions to solve problems and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our customers and their operations.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Heat Transfer & Energy Solutions group, you will be responsible for providing Manufacturing Engineering support to our Young Touchstone business unit. This position leads and oversees the manufacturing engineering team across 2 facilities, driving innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all production processes. The role is crucial in bridging product design with manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless production scalability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position will report directly to the General Manager of the business unit.

Guide the transition of new products from R&D to full-scale productionCollaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability and design for assemblyOversee the development of manufacturing processes for new product linesTechnology Integration:
Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation and Industry 4.0 conceptsDrive the adoption of digital tools for process monitoring, data analysis, and predictive maintenanceProject Management:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between
$89,100.00-$126,900.00The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
