YOUR ROLE
As Manufacturing Engineering Lead on our team, you will: As Leader of Manufacturing Engineering, you are responsible for the industrialization of new manufacturing-, assembly-, and End of Line Processes in IAS Saltillo. You plan, coordinate and follow up the industrialization activities in collaboration and alignment with global IAS Standards and in compliance of Aptiv / Centec Standards for equipment’s. You also have a good knowledge of Program Management and understand the requirements of applied Quality, e.g. FMEA, Control plan and Production Excellence e.g. Takt Time in new product- and process industrialization, including ramp-up phases.
In your daily job you will:
Prepare and own the Industrialization Plan for new equipment installationOversee compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring that legal requirements and company policies are always met in industrializationEnsure efficient and cost-effective production processes while meeting quality, quantity, and timeline requirements for internal and external customersUnderstand details of manufacturing-, assembly- and End of Line processes to the extent to complete industrialization for successful production Run RateFor those processes you do not have full expertise, be advisor to identify the right skill set and onboarding of experts Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), and PDCA methodologies to increase productivity and reduce wastePlanning of Capacity & Demand to assess capacity utilization for Actual- and Budget Demand. Propose to Global ME and Global IE the industrial solutions to overcome gapsActively contributes to the site’s leadership team by collaborating across functions (e.g. Quality, Engineering, HR, Supply Chain) to drive operational performanceSafeguard sensitive data and ensure responsible handling of company assets, facilities, and equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.YOUR BACKGROUND
