General information

As a Production Engineering Intern, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing cells of the Measurement and Analysis Business Segment (PAMA) in Quebec City. Under the supervision of the Production Engineer, you will participate in the optimization of production tools, processes and deliverables, with the aim of reducing costs, improving quality and meeting delivery deadlines.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include :
Provide day-to-day support to operations to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with quality standards.
Act as a technical resource person in your field (industrial engineering, electronics, mechanics or physics).
Propose and implement improvement ideas in your field of expertise.
Collaborate with process specialists on production process optimization projects.
Participate in problem analysis and implementation of corrective solutions with continuous improvement teams.
Contribute to the development and updating of maintenance plans for production equipment.
Define new work methods and tools, and train team members in their use.

Your background

College or university studies in engineering (software, industrial, mechanical, electronics, physics or related field).
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Autonomy, initiative and collaborative spirit.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Assets: knowledge of SAP, Windchill, Atlassian JIRA™ and IT Guide tools.
