Based in our Elyria, OH location, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support and improve our manufacturing processes, and production efficiency. This position provides exposure to a variety of engineering tasks that directly impact operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review CNC machining and assembly processes to identify process improvements and areas for optimization. Support manufacturing engineers with data analysis, project execution, and problem-solving efforts. Build and configure CNC tool assemblies and associated Tool Sheets to support machining operations. Develop and update manufacturing process work instructions to ensure standardized production methods. Digitize existing CNC machining fixtures by creating 3D SolidWorks models where none currently exist. Design machining and assembly fixtures and processes to improve efficiency and repeatability. Facilitate and support Lean/5S events to enhance workplace organization and efficiency Other duties as assignedWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to document technical information clearly. Work Schedule
The typical work schedule is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch) to mirror the hours of manufacturing operations but can work with the successful candidate to ensure optimal work-life balance.
