You will be the PAC-3 MSL Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager for the Lufkin facility. Our team is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing processes for high-reliability, military-grade electro-mechanical assemblies.
What You Will Be Doing
As Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, drive affordability projects, and create sustainable initiatives to optimize production capabilities and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
• Interviewing, hiring, developing, and evaluating manufacturing engineering talent.
• Position will involve leading, coordinating, and reporting the efforts of a group of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Interface with the customer, engineering, PAC-3 ProOps Leadership and Lufkin Senior Management.
• Support and coordinate transition to production efforts for new product lines.
• Overhead budget management and driving affordability projects.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Experience developing technical solutions to complex problems.
• Leadership qualities with significant manufacturing and assembly experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills with ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry peers, internal and external customers.
• B.S. or M.S. in a technical field.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to collaborate and influence in order to successfully advocate solutions to manufacturability deficiencies.
• Experience in engineering change and configuration control as it relates to manufacturing process.
• Technical experience to anticipate and proactively mitigate causes of process failures.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics and specs to lead team conducting drawing reviews, approvals and producibility reviews.
• Lean Manufacturing experience and/or Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications.
• Experience presenting to senior government and/or company management.
• Experience in developing and/or interpreting HPU/DPU reports.
• Experience with production and tooling proposals.
• Degree with 9+ years of experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
