You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes to support the evolving demands of the Warfighter.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and plans that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in our production operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are producible, scalable, and meet the needs of the Warfighter.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing manufacturing plans and processes to support new and evolving product designsCollaborating with design and engineering teams to improve producibility and reduce production risksIdentifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughputWorking closely with production teams to ensure smooth transition of new products and processes into production

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
• Experience working in an Electrical manufacturing shop (CCA, PWB and/or Harness assembly)
• Must have a current Secret security clearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Experience with Manufacturing / Assembly / Production processes
• Experience with creating/reviewing work instruction
Desired Skills:
• CREO Design Experience or other CAD program
• Electrical background
• Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
