Your Challenge:
Evaluate new equipment technologies and processes used in the fabrication of complex electronic assemblies (i.e. SPI, AOI, SMT)Interface with NPI and design engineering to co-ordinate new product release to productionDevelops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, research testing methods and conferring with equipment vendorsMake case for capital expenditures and ROI calculationsDocument assembly and process steps to allow manufacturing of productsDesign new fixtures to support process changeMake recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new and existing processesAnalyze manufacturing and test data for trendsProvide training and certification for manufacturing and test operatorsDevelop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systemsWork closely with engineering to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properlyDebug and diagnose complex electronic circuits by setting up and performing functionality tests and specialized tests in order to track down the root cause of the product failuresPerform methodical, disciplined techniques to meet customer expectations and internal targets for OTD metricsReview non-conforming materials and coordinate with quality assurance for appropriate dispositionDraft, review and approve ECOs and deviations where needed to support productionWhat you Bring:
Superior mechanical, electrical and technical abilitiesSkills in analyzing, judgement and decision makingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-610, J-STD / IPC-7711/7721Expert knowledge of current manufacturing and test processes/technologies: standards and specificationsExperience in software and hardware requirements used in the testing of electronic assembliesExperience with SAP, Power BI and SQLElectronic assembly debug experience is preferredProfessional work experience in analyzing and testing computer hardware and softwareKnowledge and experience working with various operating systems and backend programming is preferredKnowledge of product schematics diagram to aid the debugging productsBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science with 5 years of experienceTechnologist diploma with 8 years of experience in electronic/electro-mechanical environmentWho We Are:
