This position will be responsible for execution of cross functional Continuous Improvement initiatives within the plant. Key responsibilities include analyzing the current manufacturing state to identify improvement opportunities, executing improvement projects, and sustaining new and existing improvements. Opportunities can vary from working in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality and more.

Skills and Experience
Require a minimum of 5 years’ manufacturing experience Preferred experience as a Lean or Manufacturing Engineer Lean/ Six Sigma Certification preferred but not required Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment as necessary with demonstrated experience in both Strong computer skills with preferred experience using CAD/related drawing software Exposure to Lean and Quality Tools: DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, 5S Implementation, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 8D/Root Cause Problem Solving Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be capable of taking a project from start to finish Must be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours. Ability to walk, hear, see, and have full use of both hands. Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor. Ability to lift in excess of 65 lbs. Ability to pull 60 lbs. suspended by a crane into the proper position. Ability to lift 30 lbs. and carry a distance of 4 feet at a height of 4 feet. Ability to work off of a platform. BS degree in Engineering** Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $83,400 - $104,200 per year. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
