Under the direction of the Production Engineer Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and updating production work instructions that relate to the safe, high quality and efficient manufacture of products at Brasstech.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Develop work instructions following standard format.Distribute completed work instructions for approval and follows up to obtain approvals in a timely manner, making any corrections as deemed necessary.Upload approved work instructions to the Brasstech Intranet System.Update Work Instructions as required per Engineering Changes (EN’s) or process changes.Participate in team-based process improvement activities: 5S, kaizen, Lean Manufacturing practices, cost reduction, etc.Performs other duties as required.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with some opportunity for movement. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment or enclosed office space; and can be exposed to a warehouse environment on a frequent basis. The ambient conditions are moderate, and the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
