Proactive 18 month Contract **Manufacturing Engineer** II to drive process improvements and boost efficiency across our production lines. You'll work hands-on with product design, tooling, and equipment, using data-driven insights to enhance quality and streamline operations. **_Location:_** Irvine, CA (Onsite) **_Duration_** _:_ 18 months **Pay:** $47.00 to $50.72 DOE **Benefits** : Medical, Dental, Holiday, PTO 401K matching **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and optimize manufacturing processes based on product requirements. + Improve workflow, space utilization, and equipment layouts. + Design and execute tests to ensure product and process quality. + Analyze costs, production schedules, and future capacity needs. + Support engineering documentation, reports, and data analysis. + Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with vendors and operators to troubleshoot and enhance systems. + Guide and mentor technicians during development and implementation phases. **Qualifications:** + Degree in Engineering or a related field (Advanced degree preferred). + Strong ability to read mechanical, electrical, and PCB drawings. + Experience with Life Cycle Management, Engineering Changes, V&V, and technical documentation. + Self-starter with strong decision-making and risk-assessment skills.This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
