In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Apply the latest manufacturing technology and lean methodology in your day-to-day tasks (including the specification, design and/or selection of new equipment, tooling, fixtures and procedures required to meet safety, quality, efficiency, cost and customer requirements
Develop necessary process documentation including standard work instructions, component routings and training procedures
Coordinate efforts with all areas of operations including Product Design Engineering, Production Planning and Manufacturing Supervisors
Conduct investigations into new and emerging technologies to assist in selecting, justifying, purchasing and implementing new equipment and tooling to support operations or make recommendations on feasibility
Serve as the primary liaison for the implementation of new equipment, tools, fixture and/or processes into existing manufacturing lines or development of new production lines
Involve area personnel in the design, development, and implementation of improvement projects
Implement safety, environmental and ergonomic process improvements
Apply root cause analysis and implement interim and permanent corrective actions
Coordinate with Product Design Engineering on DFM (Design for Manufacturability)

For This Role, You Will Need:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 10+ years of experience in a related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools
Extensive process documentation experience (time studies, standard work instructions, etc.)
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Prior experience with weld, machine and assembly operations
Knowledge of CAD (NX, Solidworks, etc) and CAM (MasterCAM, ESPRIT, etc)
Experience in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment
