**Job Description**
**Position Summary**
A Manufacturing Engineer I is an entry level position responsible for the technical management, maintenance and development of new and existing product lines, including ongoing technical support to maintain production
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The following reflects essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary
+ Work closely with Production cells to prevent and resolve problems with products and/or tooling/fixtures/machinery
+ Analyze and design manufacturing cells that conform to Lean Manufacturing standards
+ Develop technical procedures for HydraForce manufacturing processes
+ Troubleshoot and isolate production failures
+ Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences in the manufacturing process
+ Collect data and develop technical reports based on production
+ Support all current and new product introduction through the APQP process
+ Ensure all manufacturing safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
+ Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through quality and efficiencies
+ Other duties as assigned

**Physical Requirements**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
+ Occasionally lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance
+ Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities
**Work Environment**
+ Work time is spent in both an office setting and warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering preferred or experience in lieu
+ 0-3 years of experience
+ Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required
+ Experience in tool design and modifications, 3D Modeling a plus
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Strong problem-solving capabilities
+ Hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
+ Process-oriented mentality
+ Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodology
+ Proficient with the Microsoft Suite Software
+ Able to perform statistical analysis
+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills
**Additional Information**
**Salary and Benefits:**
The salary range is between $75k- $80k. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
