Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – CMC - CVI

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) supporting the Chemical Vapor Infiltration (CVI), you will provide technical support to operations and execute manufacturing engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and lead time (SQCD).

What you will be doing
Here you will have the opportunity to work on the following:
Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes, digital systems and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continue to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time.Maintain and/or govern Production Technical Packages (technical instructions, programs, SOPs, PFMEAs, etc) for all parts which clearly define the manufacturing process. Ensure that manufacturing processes are in full compliance to Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm program. Rigorously raise, investigate and resolve safety related issues.Promote a culture of zero defects within the area of accountability. Ensure that manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture within the business are developed and deployed to support Right First Time manufacture. Drive improvements with utilization of RRPS, DMAIC and Systems Engineering tools.Work with interfacing teams and local experts to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes and digital systems are understood and accounted for as required. Capture and utilise lessons learnt. Identify, document, and share best practice, including by participation in relevant Communities of PracticeResponsible for self-development to meet the required competencies for the role. Continuously seek to expand knowledge and experience to increase effectiveness in undertaking existing and new activities.Who we’re looking for:

Basic Requirements:
Associate degree in Engineering with 4+ years of engineering experience, ORBachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of engineering experience, ORMaster's degree in Engineering, ORJD/PhD in Science, Technology or Engineering, ORIn lieu of a degree 6+ years of engineering experienceIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be U.S. Citizen or U.S.Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of Vacuum Furnace operating principles and hardwareKnowledge of gas supply and flow rate control / verificationKnowledge of piping and instrumentation diagram creation / interpretationExperience with logic based control systemsExperience with Mass Flow Controllers, Thermocouples, Vacuum Pumps, PH Probes, Control of Hazardous / Explosive Gases and Chemical Scrubbers for treatment of exhaust furnace wasteExperience with the FAT/SAT process and the validation of new equipment for use in productionExperience with the manufacture of Ceramic Matrix Composite Components or Aerospace Components with coating operationsWhat we offer

Pay Range: $90,985 - $136,477
Relocation assistance will be provided if applicable.
