Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a first responder to support our shop floor operations. This role is crucial for ensuring quick and effective responses to production issues while promoting continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment.
ResponsibilitiesAct as the first responder to shop floor calls and provide immediate engineering support.Attend Built-in-Quality (BIQ) meetings and follow up on action items.Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) cards, including both standard and safety-related initiatives.Investigate and resolve quality or safety concerns by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Order and coordinate tooling as required to address production or safety issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations and improve processes.Support documentation, reporting, and communication of resolution status to stakeholders.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) with 0-2 years of experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shop floor environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsEntry-level candidates welcome; internship or co-op experience preferred.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
