Location: Foley, AL |Schedule: 1st shift 8am to 5pm | Payrate $45-$55

Are you ready to take on a high-impact engineering role where your ideas, problem-solving skills, and technical know-how directly shape how aircraft are built? PDS Tech Commercial, in collaboration with a top aviation partner, is hiring an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly operations on cutting-edge aircraft systems. 

You’ll help optimize complex manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support key programs that keep our assembly lines efficient, compliant, and future-ready. 

 
 What You’ll Do: 

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Airbus A220/E2 Nacelle assembly line—working hands-on to improve quality, productivity, and throughput. Your responsibilities will include: 

Ensuring manufacturing processes follow correct sequencing and meet EHS and Quality standards 

Designing and arranging tooling, machines, and layouts for efficient production 

Improving manufacturability by collaborating with design engineering teams 

Leading the implementation of robotics and automation in assembly processes 

Identifying design improvement opportunities through line balancing and drawing/spec analysis 

Using data analytics and SPC to improve First Pass Yield (FPY), OEE, and productivity 

Supporting problem-solving initiatives and driving corrective actions 

Participating in PFMEA and Control Plan development 

Creating and maintaining accurate manufacturing process documentation (BOMs, visual aids, routings, etc.) 

Collaborating with digital manufacturing teams to support smart factory solutions 

 

What You’ll Need to Bring: 

Required Qualifications: 

Proven assembly experience in a manufacturing environment 

Working knowledge of SAP and RTPR systems 

Strong background in supporting large-scale production programs 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications 

Experience with machine/tooling design integration in manufacturing environments 

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Red X methodologies 

Basic knowledge of robotics, automation, and digital manufacturing tools 

Understanding of Project Management principles 

Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills 

Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common engineering applications 

English literacy at a basic business level (for non-U.S. candidates)

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
