Description
Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program.Implementation of new Production Equipment, Operator Work Stations, and Facilities based on product and process changes Support manufacturing assembly build events on site.Compile and distribute daily metrics files in standard night letter format and Excel list formatIdentify and drive resolution of manufacturing related issuesInterface with cross-functional activities/teams such as Product Development, Plant Engineering, SuppliersWrite, modify, maintain process sheets as requiredLead assembly tooling installation, start-up, and commissioning at the assembly site. Support tooling buy-off at the tooling vendor facility. Lead pre-build validation events for the prototype build at the pilot plantAssist in preparation of management reviews and data collection to support the presentation.Drive quality, cost and labor improvements during the launch process. Support plant acceleration throughput during the launch through identification and resolution of constraints including documentation lead for daily acceleration throughput report. Support Error Proofing installation as required. Assist in the completion of preventive maintenance planning. this applies to all new tooling for the launch. Complete spare parts documentation. Ensure industrial material documentation completed.Ensure all new tooling and processes meet internal ergonomic guidelines.Additional Skills & Qualifications
CAD experience required Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints. The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
