In this role, you will apply engineering principles to improve industrial layouts and manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in production. Key Responsibilities Study time, motion, and methods involved in production to establish standard rates and improve efficiency Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas to ensure quality and reliability standards are met Review logs, processing sheets, and specifications to confirm compliance with quality assurance requirements Plan work assignments based on performance, capacity, schedules, and anticipated delays Prepare workflow charts, floor layouts, material handling diagrams, and machine utilization reports Observe equipment use to ensure it is operated and maintained according to quality standards Evaluate worker performance and fatigue rates using timing devices Analyze production data and prepare reports to validate standards or identify deviations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering required 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Proficient with CAD software and related engineering applications Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and in a team environment Why Join STS Technical Services?
