This role supports continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and cost reduction. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provide hands-on technical support to production teams, troubleshooting issues and ensuring efficient operations. + Develop and implement labor standards for all manufactured products to ensure accurate planning and cost control. + Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. + Determine and establish economic lot sizes for manufactured components to support inventory and production planning. + Collaborate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance teams in the selection of vendors and oversee technical requirements for outsourced or externally processed parts. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** : This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities. **TRAVEL:** Minimal travel required, typically once per year. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:** + Compensation: $95,000–$115,000, depending on experience. + Comprehensive benefits package, including **medical, dental, vision, and life insurance** + **401(k) plan with company matching contributions** + **Paid time off (PTO)** and **disability insurance** + **Tuition reimbursement** for approved educational programs + Ongoing **career development and training opportunities.** **EXPERIENCE/SKILLS** + Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including robotics, automation controls, and manufacturing systems. + Proficient in solid modeling design software, preferably **SolidWorks** . + High-level analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering and production challenges. + Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and material science. + Familiarity with modern manufacturing methods, CNC machining, and process development. + Experience in designing tools, jigs, and fixtures, as well as interpreting drafting and engineering standards. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. + Demonstrated creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process innovation. **EDUCATION:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. + Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing engineering experience. + Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word at an intermediate level. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
