Job Description

Your responsibilities

Engineer with deep interaction with plant operations but also supports business unit's needs.

Participates in the assessment, evaluation, planning and execution of projects where safety, quality and productivity are essentials.

Standardize processes and production methods between multiple factories to reach the best way to do it, intercompany best practices approach.Interfaces with strategic organizations for the execution of time sensitive projects to maximize manufacturing capabilities while creating resiliency within the company.

Support advance manufacturing/operational excellence teams abroad to successfully install new tools, machines, and equipment in local facilities.

Be the leader for continuous improvement initiatives and accountable for KPIs of the area.

Improve safety conditions and take immediate action in case risk/concerns are identified.

Assist the production lines of Manual (Wave/Selective), spread communication and training in a 24/5 + OT operation model.

Shift swap, whether assignments may be on 2nd and 3rd shift and/or weekends.

You will have:

Industrial, electromechanical or related career engineer.

At least 3 years of experience related to the Wave/Selective Solder processes, expert in thru-hole soldering process (ERSA; Electrovert and Vitronics machines).

Advanced English, fluent conversations and capable of leading technical committees.

Lean Manufacturing Knowledge and Six Sigma, Green Belt.

Experience and approach for DFM.

Experience using software as CAM350.

AutoCAD, Gerber files. CAD software skills.

Understanding of ERP, SAP preferred.

Knowledge of MES.

Understanding of cost and finance concepts. CAPEX management and execution.
