Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional mechanical engineer drafter with superb technical and analytical skills, capable of accomplishing tasks swiftly and efficiently. The role involves developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and conducting related analyses specifically for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, suitable for both prototype and production-level designs.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for flight-critical avionics systems.Conduct analysis related to mechanical designs.Collaborate with teams to ensure designs meet functional requirements.Create work instructions and technical documentation.Integrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent.1+ year of experience in integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.1+ year of experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.Experience with technical writing, including work instructions and test plans.Knowledge of automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at component, subsystem, and system levels.Familiarity with handling and tracking systems for continuous material flow.Understanding of QTP/ATP, functional testing, and environmental testing.Experience in supporting both Development and Production programs.Formal training/certification in Operational Excellence Systems such as Lean, 5S, Six Sigma is a plus.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Work Environment

The position is based onsite in Redmond, with shifts split into front half nights and back half days. The role is part of building a satellite constellation and requires adherence to a structured work schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr.
