Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

This role involves conducting design for manufacture analysis, tooling design, process development, and product integration into production systems. The position entails managing projects and teams to facilitate a rapid transition to production, including project planning, 3D modeling, and engineering analysis. Responsibilities also include technical documentation for production release and interaction with various internal groups and customers.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives and best practices for competitive operations and quality improvement.Design and develop products and tooling, including fixtures and racks.Create and interpret drawings using 3D software and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Utilize measurement equipment and methods such as CMM, Faro Arm, and datums.Generate PPAP documentation, perform analysis, and conduct PFMEAs and capability analysis.Provide technical support for manufacturing operations.Capture requirements and perform root cause identification and technical problem solving.Employ troubleshooting and continuous improvement techniques to resolve quality and productivity issues in plating operations.Facilitate financial justification for new plating projects.Manage suppliers for samples, tooling, builds, and services.Plan and manage technical projects.Lead teams to deliver results across multiple, concurrent projects while achieving results on time and within budget, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D modeling.Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Knowledge of measurement equipment and methods such as CMM and Faro Arm.Strong project planning and management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.Ability to work closely with business development, operations, materials management, quality, and supply management teams.Work Environment

This position requires collaboration with various departments, including Business Development, Operations, and Quality. The role involves customer interaction and working within a team to ensure a great place to work. The work environment supports innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
