**Overview** **Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer** **Job Location: Torrance, CA** **Salary: $90,000-$115,000/yr** We are seeking a motivated engineer with hands-on experience in chip and wire assembly to play a critical role in leading the relocation of our L-CAMP line from Folsom, CA to Torrance, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical acumen with project leadership skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and eager to take on a key role in a highly visible transition project. **Responsibilities** + Learning and understanding the die-bonding, and wire bonding assembly processes, skills, tools, and equipment at Folsom location. + Qualify and transfer technology to Torrance production site + Collaborate with other functional groups to develop wire bond solutions to meet the business needs + Provide training in die-assembly, wire bond technology, problem analysis and resolution and installing the procedures, tools and equipment for Torrance facility. Must have knowledge and understanding of: + Mechanical assembly of channel amplifiers, linearizers, and other precision microwave parts and provide MIC assembly technical support. + Mechanical assembly consisting of housing fabrication for HI-REL channel amplifiers. + MIC assembly consisting of brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding. + Support test for electrical changes being performed for tuning purposes. + Brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding processes. + Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time + Ability to have eye to hand dexterity and fine motor skills + Must be able to travel for extended periods of time for extended periods of time over several months. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering. + A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the microelectronics industry. + Extensive experience with Microelectronic device process development including Eutectic die attach, precision pick and place and wire-bonding machines.
