Manufacturing Engineer
The engineer is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining standards for manufacturing processes, carrying out the industrialization process of new programs.
Process management for continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with customer requirements, local and international standards applicable in manufacturing processes.

Establishes, measures and improves operations cycle times.

Analyzes and plans labor utilization, space requirements, workflows, design of equipment layouts and work spaces for maximum efficiency.

Is responsible for the management of product contact tools in manufacturing processes.

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the flow chart, FMEA, Work Instructions, process sheets and standard methods for adjustment.

Ensures compliance with specific customer requirements in manufacturing processes.

Works with Product Engineering and Quality Engineering to define process specifications and parameters.

Establishes, validates and maintains process controls or fail-safe devices and error detection devices.

Creates and maintains together with the quality engineer reference pieces also called: red rabbits and masters.

Conducts equipment and process validations through statistical analysis, validation runs, and evaluates manufacturing processes in terms of overall equipment performance.

Applies problem-solving tools for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions systematically.

Defines and establishes, together with the product engineer, quality engineer and quality manager, the product acceptance criteria.

Prepares and implements improvement proposals, provides support for the improvement of OEE and its elements, as well as scrap.

Actively participates in decision making with multidisciplinary teams, launch meetings, evaluation and process maintenance.

Provides training to operators and maintenance technicians within their areas of action.

Participates in the preparation of product and process deviations, as well as in the evaluation and approval of permanent changes in both areas.

Conducts audits with the reverse FMEA methodology according to established schedules.

Participates in the preparation of APQP documentation.

Keeps the metrics and indicators established by the plant updated.

Carry out ergonomic studies and improvements of processes and equipment.

Actively participates in the continuos improvement processes established in the business strategy.

Perform layer audits of their work areas or those established by the quality management system coordinator.
