Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects and optimize processes within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans and leading initiatives to achieve specified goals while ensuring sustainable results.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a complete project plan including resources, costs, benefits, and schedule.Assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project to ensure it meets goals and schedule.Communicate project status to partners appropriately and follow up to ensure project results are sustained.Provide leadership to manufacturing engineering technicians through training, professional development, and personal growth opportunities.Collaborate with operators, team leaders, and value stream planners to optimize process center layouts and designs incorporating material flow and line balancing.Lead and facilitate kaizen activities using lean tools and interpersonal skills, encouraging multi-functional groups to meet common goals.Contribute to the development of the annual business unit plan based on value stream maps, metric deployment, and management system assessment.Drive waste reduction while improving employee safety.Lead and support capital expenditure requests and implementations using cost justification and business management principles.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineeringProcess improvementProcess engineeringManufacturing processLean manufacturingProject managementSolidWorksWork instructionCapital equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related degree5+ years of experience in manufacturing preferredExperience with systems such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP, and PLM (Enovia preferred)Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
