Our Bedok South plant manufactures advanced technology aerospace components and gears for Hamilton Sundstrand constant speed drives (CSD), integrated drive generators (IDG), engine gearboxes and flap/slat actuation systems. This plant is designated as the Gear Center of Excellence for Collins Aerospace. Our Changi North plant is designated as the Center of Excellence for Complex Machining. The site produces complex machined components that support the APU business, various housings for electrical power generators and gearboxes, while manufacturing components for air management systems. Manufacturing Engineer is responsible developing and implementing the processes, tooling, equipment, and systems that are used in the production of components manufactured in the facility. This position requires CAD/CAM, CNC programing, mechanical aptitude, tooling, and metrology technology knowledge. Roles & Responsibilities + Manage the end to end effort for the development and deployment of new production processes and equipment. + Develop the planning, programming, and production flow of precision metal parts. + Validation of CNC programs for errors in an offline virtual environment + Identify and design tooling for production processes . + Maintain and control process documentation of production processes. + Work with Quality Engineers to develop gauging and systems for process control. + Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of production processes. + Develop paperless shopfloor documentation systems. + Assist production in the prove-out and debugging of new processes. + Follow prescribed work rules and safety standards. + Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure project success. Qualification & Requirement: + Degree in an Engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material). + Preferred Skills (if any): + Demonstrate high level of attention to details. + Ability to be Flexible and adapt to changing priorities. + Ability to analyze information and quickly solve problems. + Experience with metrology standards and equipment. + Basic MS Excel, Word skills. _RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
