Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. Your primary focus will be on designing and maintaining the sequence of operations to produce parts in conformance with product drawings.

ResponsibilitiesSpecify and design tooling required to produce parts.Develop and maintain documentation, including NC and CNC programs and operational drawings.Specify and design gauging and frequency.Act as a shop liaison to solve manufacturing problems and maintain production schedules.Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems and maintain quality, delivery schedules, and product cost.Recognize design features that enhance manufacturability to maintain the lowest product cost.Implement continuous improvements in manufacturing processes to reduce cost and lead-time and improve quality.Develop, comply with, and support ISO-9000, QS-9000, TS-, and 6-SIGMA procedures and work instructions.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.Expertise in machining and CNC programming.Experience in gear manufacturing and lean manufacturing principles.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent applicable experience.Five plus years of experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer.Previous experience in gearing and machining.Knowledge of automation, Mazatrol or G&M code, CNC grinding, and lean/continuous improvement is a plus.Work Environment
This role involves spending 70% of your time on the manufacturing floor and 30% in the office, with 10-20% dedicated to programming and troubleshooting. You will work in a well-established manufacturing facility, gaining hands-on experience with both small and large gear manufacturing processes.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr.
