**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Ensure that the products are manufactured according to spec on designs. These specs are established by corporate offices in U.S.A. by the correct interpretation of product drawings, norms, standards or established codes.
+ Promote modern manufacturing systems that ensure a competitive advantage.
+ Develop the technicians members on the team as well as certifying the operators on the different manufacturing areas
+ Maintain communication and information exchange with the different departments involved personnel (local or worldwide personnel as required), during processes changes or the implementation of new processes/product/equipment are done.
+ Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing such as 5S, layout changes, POKA YOKE implementation, improvement on BOM’s and routings.
+ Develop and improve calibration routines for equipment and tooling on processes owned by the engineer with support from the maintenance/or quality engineer.
+ Evaluate, improve, and maintain safety and ergonomic conditions of his/her owned processes.
+ Coordinate time studies, capacity analysis and manufacturing cell design.
+ Report and improve scrap and FPY deliverables by improving quality of the processes with the use and analysis of statistical tools such as SPC and capacity studies Cp/Cpk amongst others
+ Budget, evaluate, select, and purchase new tools and equipment, as well as coordinate validation and installation of the mentioned before following the already established procedures.
+ Identify and correct complex failures in manufacturing processes. Provide disposition to non-conforming material.
+ Complies with all safety policies, reports immediately any situation of risk and participates actively in actions to improve safety in his/her area of control
+ Controls the resources assigned by the company to the department.
+ Takes and participates in actions that help maintain compliance with the Quality System

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Engineering degree compatible with the assigned area
+ Two (2) years of related experience
+ Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, Flow Charts, Manufacturing procedures, Lean manufacturing system, GD&T.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Master's degree.
+ English 90% proficiency level
