Position Details 

Plan, co-ordinate and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and completed machines.Co-ordination of Production, Engineering and Quality Assurance Departments to establish/implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.Implementing best practice standard work onto shop floorBuild/Drawing pack creation & maintenance in conjunction with Engineering Change Orders & New Product Development.Liaise with cross functional departments e.g. supply chain, engineering, qualityImplement Lean Manufacturing principles including Line Balance, 5S, Poke YokeEnsure current processes and all new processes encompass safe working practicesProduction support to the Manufacturing DepartmentProblem Solving

About you

Engineering related third level qualification.Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) would be advantageousSolid experience in use of Microsoft packagesExperience of 3D modelling software would be advantageousKnowledge of and ability to train Lean Manufacturing.Excellent communication skillsExcellent multi-tasking & attention to detail skillsAbility to work under pressureGreat organisational skills and self motivatedLogical & Methodical approach to problem solvingAbility to work with others to meet deadlines
