Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to provide manufacturing technical direction and technical assistance for new and existing products with focus on CNC managing, including process design and tooling requirements for manufacturing operations. The position supports continuous improvement in production while utilizing the framework of the Business System as well as the Continuous Improvement Framework Responsibilities: + Managing CNC equipment. Managing machining production + Lead projects involving cross-functional teams focused on plant strategy growth projects + Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource, and budget commitments reflected in the PM Plan + Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications of new programs + Discuss project specifications with quality engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible. + Provide guides to Manufacturing technicians to Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts + Oversee cutting process, plans throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors. + Supervise machine Parameters, ensure that machines have adequate set of controls. + Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary. + Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation + Develop the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement Profile: + Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery + Familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software + Proven experience leading new projects + Advanced English is a must + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities + Values precision and enforces quality standards + Ability to understand G-code / M-Code + Knowledge of consumables (CNC equipment cutting and roughing tools) + GD&T Experience: + 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering Field + At least 3 years of experience managing CNC machines + Horizontal Lathe Operations (Desirable Okuma) + Grinder CNC Machines (Desirable Okuma) + Numerical Control Language Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
