For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier. **About this role:** The Indianapolis Manufacturing Plant is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot equipment issues, drive process improvements, and lead emergency response efforts as a technical expert. We’re looking for candidates with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in technical role troubleshooting equipment. Your diverse background and fresh perspective are valued, with strong opportunities for career growth and leadership within Carrier’s global operations team. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** ● Provide hands-on technical support by troubleshooting equipment and tooling issues, collaborating closely with maintenance, tool room, and production teams ● Recommend, develop, and implement preventive maintenance procedures to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime ● Plan, coordinate, and execute equipment and tooling repairs, modifications, and performance improvements ● Ensure proper validation and safe hand-off of equipment to production following maintenance or repairs ● Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency and line output ● Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet factory standards and evolving production requirements ● Design and optimize assembly layouts and material handling operations for improved workflow ● Define process sequences and develop detailed specifications for tool and equipment fabrication, ensuring alignment with product performance goals ● Enhance manufacturing methods, assess production capacity, and assist in developing and maintaining efficient production schedules ● Support time and cost estimation efforts for projects and process improvements as needed **Required Qualifications:** ● Associates Degree ● 2+ years of maintenance/engineering experience ● 2+ years of robotics experience **Preferred Qualifications:** ● Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering ● Manufacturing background ● Excellent verbal communication skills ● Strong teamwork and collaboration skills ● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy RSRCAR \#LI-On-Site **_Carrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
