**Manufacturing Engineer 2**
Responsible for catching product development lifecycle management (PDLM) subprojects, providing input for manufacturing requirements, creating quality control plans, supervising manufacturing equipment installation, providing input during project sign-off, executing design changes, and implementing manufacturing enhancements. The role contributes factory input during project sign-off and closure, focusing on quality, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturing standards. The role applies lean manufacturing principles, implements Capex optimization strategies, and procures and installs recurring equipment. The role supports the implementation of Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate defects, thereby enhancing product quality and reducing waste in manufacturing processes.
**Your role:**
+ Monitors and improves line yields, 1st pass yields, cycle times, and costs.
+ Performs process validation activities without supervision.
+ Support to process flow for new suppliers to develop new material or equipment needs.
+ Supports and leads the execution of the activities defined in project.
+ Good knowledge of cost analysis for new product expenditures. Adheres to finalized budgets.
+ Supports internal and external audit processes by representing the company as subject matter expert to auditors or audit requests.
+ Participates, investigates and proposes action plans in (FMEA) and root cause analysis.
+ May support specific steps on the review of new product technology including existing or needed tooling and processes.
+ Builds relationships to interact with other Mfg. Engineers, Technicians, and cross-functional teams.
+ Safety consideration for material usage, process.
+ Leads, performs and participates in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Continuous
+ Improvement Program (CIPs), Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other internal projects.
+ May support and lead projects and next level MEs under the supervision of a senior ME.
+ Provides guidance and training to production operators during the implementation process.
**You're the right fit if:**
+ You hold bachelor’s degree in Materials, Electronic, Mechanic engineering and/or Lean6Sigma certification (Green or Black belt)
+ You have acquired 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
+ Your skills include, Intermediate-Advanced English, proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with Visio, Project.
**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an onsite role.
