As a Manufacturing & DFx Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that the Design for Manufacturability requirements and program specific targets are taken into account in the new product development phase.
With good working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, DFM, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, GD&T, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC processes & tools.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D and manufacturing environment.
Define DfM targets and collaborate with Design Engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvementsDevelop and maintain quality control plans and procedures Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activitiesSupport new product launches through the APQP processMonitor and analyze product quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementEnsure compliance with quality management system requirementsDrives best practices and lessons learned implementation in product design.DfM Lessons-to-Learn collection and utilization to new projects. Improve and maintain DfM expert and Requirements Engineering network. Create product specific BA/FA Production Process Description and production related documentation (FS, DCC etc.). Ensure DfM target realization by analyzing volume production performance and capacity. Provide support to production ramp-up phase..
