You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for our team in Grand Prairie, TX, responsible for leading a team of supervisors, support team members, and machinists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Associate Manager, you will be responsible for managing team staffing, including recruitment, selection, and training, as well as performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute on core metrics of safety, quality, cost, and schedule, and drive a continuous improvement mindset and work environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing team staffing, including recruitment, selection, and training
* Coordinating performance assessment, work assignments, cross training, and recognition/disciplinary actions
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and industrial engineering, quality engineering and inspection, production planning and control, maintenance, facilities, and ESH
* Driving a continuous improvement mindset and work environment
* Focusing on meeting customer requirements and business objectives in all areas of the business
* Executing on core metrics of safety, quality, cost, and schedule

Basic Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to create and utilize metrics to drive business performance
- Understanding and experience with collective bargaining agreements and working in a union environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including SAP and Apriso
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
- Understanding and experience in Material Requirements Planning
- Experience in working with facilities teams and capital project management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
