*  Control to achieve the financial and operating objectives set by the overall organizational business plan.

*  Responsible for developing the Material disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.

*  Collaborates with Manufacturing, Project Managers, Engineering, SIOP, and Sales as well as other areas in the general Supply Chain including Strategic Sourcing to drive Supply Chain performance.  This is by improving supplier lead times, keeping raw material cost of quality low, and optimizing component and assembly inventory levels.

* Develops and executes on-time delivery, inventory turns, and inventory control plans, adherence to production schedules, cost improvements and ensures continued employee growth through development programs

* Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities within the supply chain and at the plant

*  Manages and controls inventory investment to set goals and objectives for areas of responsibility.

* Manages and controls inventory entitlement & internal warehouse to maintain accuracy and material forecast.

* Facilitates and leads strong (external and internal) supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.

* Investigates potential for delays and/or quality issues, identifies alternative (approved) plans, and engage, elevate when any sourced item will not arrive on time to support the schedule or quality issues arise.

*  Supports and may establish material departmental budgets; monitors the cost and effectiveness of production planning and scheduling to meet and support customer RK/PK. Supports removal of barriers to improve shipping and receiving by facilitating timely transport of goods within budgets and government regulations.

* Establishes and maintains appropriate systems and processes to ensure honest, fair, and ethical work environment; adhering to legal regulations.

*  Plans and coordinates performance of material inventory savings year over year.

*  Drives and collaborate performance based on systemic approaches to support sustainability across MRP.
