A Snowflake Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data warehousing solutions using the Snowflake platform. Your role

Design and implement end-to-end data warehouse solutions leveraging the Snowflake platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and securityTranslate business and technical requirements into efficient, secure, and maintainable data models and architecturesLead the migration of data from legacy systems to Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruptionDevelop and enforce best practices and standards for data warehousing, data modeling, and Snowflake usageCollaborate with cross-functional teams-including data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders-to deliver robust data solutionsMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake environments for performance, storage efficiency, and cost managementIntegrate Snowflake with other cloud services, ETL/ELT tools, and BI platforms to create seamless data workflowProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members and other stakeholderEnsure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirementStay current with Snowflake updates, emerging features, and industry trends to continuously enhance solution

Your skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field5 years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, or analytics solution3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, implementation, and optimizationStrong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL developmentProven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectureExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, DBT, MuleSoft) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)7.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills3.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
