Overview KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Market position Work with the VP of Publicis Media South Africa to build two-year plan to achieve double digit growth across relevant agencies in JHB and CT. Identify and implement organic growth strategy Lead the agencies brand and reputation in the industry at local levels within South Africa and across the Continent Work closely with the Practice Leads as a lever to drive growth and market leadership Build and strengthen the Media Services offering Client retention and growth Ensure the strategic business plan results in maximum client satisfaction and organic revenue growth Close and effective cooperation with local/ global practices and brands Create and implement immaculate service and leadership charter for clients Focus on local and global client relationships and ensure their product in the Market is BIC and in line with overall objectives for clients Ensure collaboration across the Groupe’s agencies to drive a more integrated and innovative solution for clients Add tangible value to Groupe clients through delivery of BIC work across agencies offerings New Business Build a strong prospecting plan for the Agencies – identify targets with a solid engagement action plan Ensure there is strong conversion of new business Provide active input to Publicis Media’s entities and Power of One business development plans and prospects Support of Groupe & Brand pitches for both global & local pitches Forge strong relationships with media audit firms/pitch doctors Operational Excellence Responsible for the operational effectiveness of Media Services inline with Groupe policies and directives Adoption and management of Publicis Media’s operational process, workflow, systems and processes Review progress and take corrective action to ensure performance Ensure quality control and improvement of all company output and delivery of services Support of other Groupe client requirements where specialist input is required Management of capacity of host agency staff so as to service the needs of both their own client group as well as any other clients across the Groupe Financial Performance Work with VP of Publicis Media South Africa to build a strong and achievable budget commitment on an annual basis Closely monitoring the operating and financial results against plans and budgets - deliver on budget commitment Management of Media contribution against Commit and Growth Targets Manage margins and operational costs at a client and agency level Provide support to drive revenue growth and productivity, with innovative “break- the-mould” strategies Help drive revenue for the group through key Media Services offering working closely with the PMX practice.
