**Job Description:**
Role will require managing a team of Treasury Sales Officers and Treasury Sales Associates based in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand (noting the Vietnam client base is covered out of Singapore). Coverage focus is Financial Institutions and non-bank financial institutions at a time of tremendous opportunity and change. These clients are innovative, moving quickly in adopting new products, acclimating to extensive technology trends, and our team needs to provide thought leadership, client advice on tailored solutions in this changing landscape. The head of FI Sales SEA is responsible for coordinating and directing treasury management sales activities to include development of new business, expansion of existing business with strong focus on responsible growth. Unlimited client contact within the region with clients headquartered in SEA, and with those headquartered elsewhere globally with a meaningful presence in SEA. Additionally, the individual must be well versed with our Treasury Product Solutions suite to assist in the assessment of new solution sets in conjunction with the economic trends. Role reports into the Head of APAC FI Sales
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Responsible for hiring best in class talent and ensuring we have a motivated and driven sales team. Responsible for development of sales strategy for FI SEA sector to maximize growth within risk parameters and optimize relationship profitability and executing upon it via the front line sales and sales support who deliver integrated treasury solutions to the Global Corporate Banking and GPS client base.
+ Responsibility to closely partner with Product, Region Heads, Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Bankers and Risk globally.
+ Resource and performance management including hiring, setting team and individual goals, performance management, compensation input and other HR related matters.
+ Influences the team through effective leadership that includes presenting a strategy for the team, coaching, leading through example, role model for teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
Required Skills:
+ 15+ years of experience in serving and selling sophisticated treasuryand payment solutions to FIs, Insurers, Asset Managers and other NBFI clients, with a proven track record in developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships
+ Strong business, commercial and origination skills
+ Strong executive presence both internally/externally. In depth knowledge of USD clearing, regulatory matters relating to the sector, Swift, Real Time Payments, blockchain alternatives and the changing landscape of global payments
+ Excellent communication and writing skills
