The Singapore GNB Head is a senior management level position responsible for delivering Citi’s unique global network to the subsidiaries and regional treasury centers of our Banking clients operating in Singapore. This position will drive revenue growth for the Singapore franchise by ensuring strong focus on origination, driving wins across all products across Citi franchise and delivery of excellent client experience. This role is a key member of Citi Singapore senior management team, reporting directly to Citi Singapore Corporate Banking Head
Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor a client driven franchise growth plan which is delivered through people and franchise managementUnderstand regional and emerging market trends to identify growth opportunities, anticipate obstacles and communicate a forward-looking vision that is responsive to changes in the environmentResponsible for overall subsidiary and regional relationship management and providing a wide range of treasury and corporate finance solutions, including cash management, trade, FX, financing and commoditiesDrive client planning, product agnostic cross selling, client access, and effective capital allocation Translate Citi’s strategy into an effective and efficient GNB business plan and drive a strong balance between near-term and long-term prioritiesDrive C suite client interactions and content creation for strategic dialogueEnsure alignment of core strategy against the segment with Banking, Markets, Services, Global Wealth Management, as well as Institutional Client Management (“ICM”) and Risk partners to drive growth and client deliveryResponsible for meeting revenue goals and other goals related to budget, risk management, and credit allocation in partnership with Parent Account Manager (“PAM”), Global Capital Market (“GCM”) and RiskDrive innovation, differentiation, speed to market and promote cross selling of products across the full Citi platformUse external and internal data for directing and measuring the origination and sales effortEnsure client relationships and proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards and anticipated future changes in the marketplaceAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsDevelop strong and diverse talent pool within GNB franchiseQualifications:
15+ years of relevant experienceExperience in people managementBusiness Senior Credit Officer preferredGlobal coverage / relationship management experience and working across the full spectrum of banking products / services relevant for Corporate clients.Strong corporate finance skillsDemonstrated ability to balance between internal management and external client engagementDemonstrated understanding of compliance issues and regulatory requirements (global and local)Proven leadership skills and intellectual capability to create momentum and a collective agenda across multiple products with a diverse population and competing prioritiesDemonstrated intellectual grasp of the industry and ability to anticipate and lead the organizational response to future changes and translate vision into executable plansProven analytical and problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriatelyConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's/MBA degree preferred from a top economics, business, or financial engineering program------------------------------------------------------
