About the Position:

We are seeking a lawyer who is a true problem-solver, one who goes beyond tactical work and acts as close liaison to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure line of business. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the business unit, its proprietary information, services and technology, as well as its practices. Our attorneys have instinctively good judgment and impeccable integrity. This position is telecommuting/remote from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities include:

Providing legal support for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure business, enabling profitable growth while mitigating legal risks and assuring adherence to governance policies, ethics, and country specific laws and regulations. Demonstrating general functional knowledge across a wide range of sub disciplines (e.g., antitrust/competition law, compliance and regulatory, cloud transactions, data privacy, contract management, intellectual property, and other issues specific to the computer and technology industry) Advising on legal issues involving government and regulatory compliance. Responding to ad hoc queries to include identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks in order to provide appropriate legal solutions. Working closely with other lawyers throughout Oracle and coordinating legal matters handled by outside lawyers.
