Join Us as a Managing Counsel, Property Liability Expert – Where Your Insurance (Property and Casualty) Expertise Meets Strategic Impact

We're seeking a collaborative legal mind with a strong foundation in Property and Casualty to step into an impactful role on our Law and Regulation team.

If you have a passion for strategic problem-solving, we want to hear from you. In this role, you'll advise across a range of business units, supporting key areas like product development, pricing, underwriting, and claims. You'll tackle complex, meaningful legal issues that shape the future of our business—all while growing your own impact and expertise.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive legal guidance and creative problem-solving on emerging property liability and regulatory issues.Serve as a key legal partner on complex cross-functional projects and initiatives.Draft, review, and negotiate moderately complex agreements and legal documents.Deliver real-time, business-focused legal advice related to risk management and legal compliance.Conduct complex legal research to determine applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.Collaborate across Law & Regulation teams to synthesize legal opinions and align strategies.Advise internal business stakeholders on regulatory developments, rules, and rate reviews within the property and casualty insurance space.Act as legal counsel in connection with regulatory market conduct examinations and related compliance efforts.Assist in legal strategy, communication, and planning for internal clients.
 EducationJuris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Experience 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry.Demonstrated expertise in property liability and regulatory law.Strong legal research and writing skills.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
