Job Description

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Develops and manages engineering programs and projects, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Leads and motivates teams of engineers and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and efficient workflows. Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Regularly communicates project status, progress, and potential issues to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Manages project budgets, ensures efficient resource allocation, and monitors project costs. Ensures that engineering projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Identifies opportunities to improve engineering processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

A strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies relevant to the specific industry or product. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting. Ability to lead and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements. 

PREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Several years of experience in engineering and project management.Experience managing complex engineering projects and programs.Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. 

SKILLS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges effectively. Excellent interpersonal skillsStrong can-do attitude
