We are looking for a Manager to join our People Consulting team in our Auckland office. In this role, you’ll lead and deliver high-impact business change initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with organisational goals. You’ll work with leading organisations across Aotearoa to help them adapt to an evolving environment and implement people-centric change across their operations.

This role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will support the delivery of high-impact projects within the People Consulting team.
Lead the design and execution of business transformation and change management initiatives, ensuring alignment with client goals and strategic direction. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape and embed organisational change across structures, systems, and cultures. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including the development of change management plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, risk assessments, and progress tracking. Work closely with project managers, department leaders, and external partners to drive successful outcomes. Coach and manage high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative environment and building capability in change leadership, communication, and people-focused solutions. Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
Proven expertise in change management methodologies, organisational development, stakeholder engagement, business process improvement, and strategic planning. Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident. Minimum of 5 years’ consulting experience, with a strong foundation in policy development, business operations, data analysis and interpretation, system design and implementation, and risk and decision management. Demonstrated experience in leading teams or managing project teams, with a solid understanding of organisational change theory, culture and people management, business transformation, and the ability to coach and mentor others through complex challenges.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below:
Proven experience working in large or matrix organisations, with exposure to HR systems or technologies and change management. An interest or background in organisational psychology, development, or culture change is a plus. Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate strategies based on cost, benefits, risks, and stakeholder buy-in. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships, engage diverse stakeholders, and clearly convey complex ideas using appropriate techniques, including storytelling. Creative, adaptable, and flexible mindset, with a strong ability to question assumptions, apply professional scepticism, and tailor approaches to suit varying contexts, environments, and audiences.
