The Workday Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Team Members responsible for the configuration, implementation, and optimization of all functional areas within Workday (e.g., HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.). This role involves leading a team of technical and functional Workday resources, ensuring seamless collaboration across different business units, and delivering solutions that enhance business processes. The manager will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the Workday development team, ensuring that business requirements are met and that Workday’s functionality is fully optimized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Workday functional and technical specialists, ensuring efficient collaboration, resource allocation, and performance management.Oversee the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support for a specific Workday functional area (e.g., Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Financials, etc.).Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions. Lead or support Workday projects from inception through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Oversee the configuration and customization of Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance with company policies.Work with technical teams to manage Workday integrations with other business systems, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and efficient workflows.Ensure timely troubleshooting, resolution of system issues, and ongoing maintenance of the Workday system within the assigned functional area.Ensure adherence to system governance practices, security protocols, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday HCM modules.  Collaborate with HR stakeholders to ensure Workday aligns with organizational HR processes and objectives. Analyze and optimize HCM processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.Security Management, develop and maintain security protocols and access controls within Workday.  Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.  Address and resolve security-related issues promptly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

5 to 7 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent
