Manager - Transportation Planning & Design

Assist in Data Collection:

Gather traffic, passenger, and transportation data to support the development of transport infrastructure plans.

Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and structured organization to facilitate seamless analysis and informed decision-making.

Survey Support:

Conduct transportation surveys and gather stakeholder feedback—including passengers and airport staff—on transport systems.

Support data entry, report generation, and presentation development to enhance project evaluations and strategic discussions.

Modeling Support:

Assist senior team members in running transport models and simulations to predict infrastructure performance.

Prepare and input relevant data into modeling software, ensuring simulations yield actionable insights for optimizing transport systems.

Operational Support:

Monitor the progress of construction and planning activities by maintaining accurate records and preparing status updates.

Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee transport infrastructure developments, ensuring alignment with approved designs and standards.

Regulatory Documentation Support:

Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory documents for review by relevant authorities.

Maintain comprehensive records of permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance updates to ensure project adherence to evolving transportation standards.

Report Generation and Data Repository:

Systematically organize project files, reports, and correspondences related to transport planning.

Maintain an accessible data repository and assist in compiling structured weekly and monthly reports, detailing project progress, timelines, and key challenges.

Learning and Development:

Engage in continuous learning and training activities to enhance transport management expertise.

Stay informed about industry innovations, best practices, and regulatory shifts to support the development of efficient and future-ready transport systems.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Certifications in Transport planning or traffic planning is preferred.

Work Experience:

5-8 years of experience in transport planning or a related role

Practical experience in managing transport planning projects, preferably within the infrastructure or aviation sector, is essential.

Basic knowledge of transport planning tools and methodologies:

Familiarity with tools like VISUM, VISSIM, and TransCAD, and methodologies such as traffic impact analysis and transport modeling, is preferred.
