Description

These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals. 

Job overview and responsibilities

The Manager - Transformation provides analytic and strategic support for various cross-divisional projects and ad hoc requests.  Primary focus will be to provide financial support for Labor Section 6 negotiations along with other labor initiatives.  The position works closely with finance stakeholders, divisional leadership, and subject matter experts to understand economic aspects of contractual labor elements.

Partner with other Finance groups to develop financial models, including validation of inputs, model selection, and developmentPerform ad-hoc and recurring financial analysesPerform labor benchmarking analyses for all labor groupsManage projects through their full lifecycles, from initial concept and sizing to implementation, while leading and indirectly managing others throughout the organizationBuild comprehensive financial analysis tools by integrating data from several sources and systems

This is a hybrid position based out of Chicago HQ and will require 25-50% domestic travel

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, or other related field4+ years of analytical work experience demonstrating increasing responsibilityAirline or travel industry experienceKnowledge of financial statements and analysesProficiency with Microsoft Office products, highly proficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient with data querying tools and data manipulationAbility to work cross-functionally and navigate organizational interdependenciesAbility to identify data trends and turn data into informationAbility to create and deliver presentations and effectively communicate to senior leadershipAbility to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problemsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
