Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. 

Description

Responsible for supervision and preparation of the Company’s foreign based income tax provisions using OneSource Tax Provision software applications.  Secondary responsibilities involve managing Pillar 2 (GloBE) tax computations across multiple jurisdictions in accordance with OECD guidelines and local country rules.

Manage preparation of complex quarterly and monthly income tax provisions for foreign locations included within U.S. GAAP based global financial reporting results.Oversee senior analyst and work with personnel in multiple foreign locations to ensure timely delivery of accurate results to International Tax Director.Maintain and enhance Pillar 2 internal models and tools to perform GloBE calculations on a quarterly basis for provision purposes, including review of Pillar 2 related disclosures, compliance filings, Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting and other BEPS related documentation.Assist International Tax Director in oversight of accounting for foreign location tax examinations.Monitor global tax law developments and assess their impact on the Company’s operations.Oversee SOX 404 testing on key calculations and processes.Provide leadership and work direction as well as evaluate the performance of subordinate staff.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ANDAt least seven (7) years combined work experience with Big 4 public accounting tax department and large multinational corporation preparing corporate income tax returns and related income tax provisionsExtensive experience with ASC 740Significant experience with U.S. income tax rules and regulations, including specialized emphasis in the areas of corporate consolidations.Significant experience with OECD guidelines, calculation requirements and local country rules.Working knowledge of US International income tax law including transactions associated with outbound and inbound investments.Experience with OneSource (Tax Provision, UTP and Workpapers), Orbitax, Adobe and Microsoft Tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power BI, Teams & Outlook). Proficient in use of BNA, RIA, CCH and other tax and accounting research tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Accounting or TaxCPA designation preferredAt least 7-8 years of work experience with Big 4 public accounting tax department and large multinational corporation preparing corporate income tax returns and related income tax provisions.Fluency in Spanish a plusPosition may include Domestic and International travel (5% or less)

 

Criteria/Conditions:

Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.Domestic and International travel (5% or less)

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $110,000-$155,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance.  Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.  Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements.  More details will be shared during the hiring process. Click here to view a sample of Total Rewards Estimate for this role.
