The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake County, Abbott Park, Illinois USA site in the Corporate HR division.  

Join Abbott’s world-class Talent Acquisition team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Operations Manager.  Abbott’s Talent Acquisition Operations team delivers high quality solutions through cutting edge technology that improves the hiring manager and candidate experience as well increase recruiter efficiency.  We leverage our strategic partnerships with both internal Abbott HR Technology staff and third-party vendors to complete these implementations.  The Talent Acquisition Operations team is responsible for the project management, vendor management, training, communications and effectiveness reporting associated with these implementations.

What You’ll Work On

Develop and implement processes that make it easier for the organization and the recruiters to find the best talent in the most efficient way around the world. Lead, manage, implement and/or participate in global projectsGather requirements from respective stakeholders, research available solutions and provide recommendations to the Director of Talent Acquisition Operations with the mindset of simplifying our technology stack without sacrificing qualityDevelop use-case based test scripts designed to assure quality and coordinate the completion testing across global team membersDevelop communications, training materials, and job aids to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologyOversee North American aspects of Talent Acquisition operations, globally. This includes, but not limited to process improvements, ATS management, and analytics.Partner with TA Operations Reporting team to measure technology adoption and effectivenessWill also be responsible for leading and developing a team of people.

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or similar disciplineAt least five years of experience working in Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems or HR TechnologyStrong computer skills using MS products, particularly Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Power Apps and PowerPointMust possess strong organization and communication skillsMust have strong communication and relationship building skills. A critical part of this role will be to build and maintain strong working relationships with a number of key stakeholders. This individual will interact with HR Communications, Recruitment Leads, External Opinion Leaders, HRIT, etc.Adaptability to a frequently changing work environment.On-site position

Preferred Qualifications

Six sigma certifiedAt least five years of experience working in Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems or HR TechnologyPrior experience with project management and implementations or recruiting experiencePrior experience with Workday or PhenomOrganized, has high standards, process driven, and curious

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
