Are you in? **Primary Purpose** Management and administration of foreman and trade personnel assigned to electrical or system shops. - Responsible for managing relationships with key service users in Operations, Supply Chain and Exelon Power. Oversees and supports the planning, scheduling, and direction of maintenance work assigned. Coordinate shop resources to provide safe, reliable, and cost effective services which include equipment repair, tool repair, personal protective equipment, machining and fabrication, and heavy hauling services. **Primary Duties** + Provide oversight and support implementation of business unit strategies to ensure alignment with Supply's process; integration with Engineering technology strategies, operational reliability, construction and maintenance work activities, project management and regulatory requirements; repair and service offerings; system code and stocking level recommendations; Priority 10 and 20 work and daily execution; work week management material availability; logistics planning; and implementation of the service level agreements. Includes review yearly work plans, special project needs, material requirements, vendor support, service requirements and work expansion opportunities to increase overall value to the customers. (20%) + Provides oversight and support implementation of a safe and environmentally compliant work atmosphere and facilities. Includes enforcing established OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulatory requirements and rules. Ensure all regulatory and safety training are successfully implemented in accordance with business unit procedures and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, and DOT) Environmental programs supported through data management and operational application include Air Management, Hazardous and Residual Waste, Oil Spill Response, PCB, Recycling, Tank Storage, Waste Water. (20%) + Develop and implement objectives designed to assure the highest levels of material availability, logistics support and customer service to maximize profitability and support Exelon's goals. Establish and monitor department budget and ensure alignment with strategic/business plan initiatives. (15%) + Provide governance and oversight of system shop repair activities to ensure they are performed safely, efficiently, in accordance with procedures, codes and regulations, and with a high regard for customer satisfaction. Includes supporting 24-hour repair and fabrication service needs, managing planned and emergent commitments, and execution of quality control measures. (15%) + Provides governance and oversight of the transportation of materials, including heavy loads and hazardous materials, to ensure that the materials are transported in a safe and reliable manner and that all applicable Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Association, Environmental Protection Agency regulatory requirements are implemented. (10%) + Assist other Supply departments with the analysis and management of inventory levels; balancing cost control with appropriate commodity purchases to meet service need, cost and asset management needs. Assist with management of inventory obsolescence program. (10%) + Maintain effective communications with work team. Coach and develop each team member in technical skills, planning abilities and individual and team behavioral and performance expectations. Seek and foster collaborative improvement opportunities with Bargaining Unit employees. Abide by arrangements made in the collective bargaining agreement, and facilitate grievance procedure when agreements cannot be reached. (10%) + Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned **Job Scope** + Provides governance and oversight of shop resources to provide safe, reliable, and cost effective services which include equipment testing, repair, machining, fabrication, materials management, tool repair and transportation of materials and equipment including heavy or oversized loads. + This position interfaces with senior leadership across Exelon, external suppliers, and union personnel and leadership. Supervision and management of up to 30 craft and professional employees as direct reports. + Develops strategic business plans and provides governance and oversight of the implementation of the plans. Manage relationships with key business unit customers such as operations, construction and maintenance, engineering, IT, and customer service. + Provides oversight of the Supply Chain process and aligns the process with business unit requirements and needs to ensure that the right service/equipment is in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost. + Provides oversight of the rubber goods testing facility to ensure that materials leaving the facility meet the highest safety standards, technical and regulatory regulations, and are ready for use on high voltage and live line work activities. + Provides governance and oversight of the transportation of materials, including heavy loads and hazardous materials, to ensure that the materials are transported in a safe and reliable manner and that all applicable Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Association, + Environmental Protection Agency regulatory requirements are implemented. Develops and monitors department budget. + Travel on average 50% across Exelon sites and business units as business needs dictate. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 7-10 years of experience + Strong computer skills including Micro Soft software and PassPort. + Strong communicator, written and oral, with strengths in organization, planning. + Strong analytical skills with respect to total cost materials. + Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking) + Strong project and change management skills. + In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Knowledge of codes and standards, which apply to the repair and maintenance of electrical and equipment. + Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements associated with the transportation of materials. + 3-5 years of supervisory experience. **Benefits** **Benefits** + Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $103,200.00/Yr. – $141,900.00/Yr. + Annual Bonus for eligible positions: 20% + 401(k) match and annual company contribution + Medical, dental and vision insurance + Life and disability insurance + Generous paid time off options, including vacation, sick time, floating and fixed holidays, maternity leave and bonding/primary caregiver leave or parental leave + Employee Assistance Program and resources for mental and emotional support + Wellbeing programs such as tuition reimbursement, adoption and surrogacy assistance and fitness reimbursement + Referral bonus program + And much more Note: Exelon-sponsored compensation and benefit programs may vary or not apply based on length of service, job grade, job classification or represented status.
