The Manager Sterile Processing:

Leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all Quality Leadership skills. Expertly manages the entire operation surrounding the sterile processing of instruments and other items necessary to conduct patient care throughout the hospital. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the Sterile Processing Department and acts as liaison between staff, team members, physicians, other customers and administration. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Experience:

Required - 3 years - Sterile ProcessingOr - 5 years - Related experience in lieu of AssociatesRequired - 3 years - Management; Or - 5 years - Coordinator Role in a related field.

Required Education:

Required Education/Certification includes an Associate's degree and CRCST (Sterile Processing) preferred; however in lieu of the degree the CRCST (Sterile Processing) certification is required

Required Credentials:

Preferred: CBSPD Certified Surgical Instrument SpecialistCRCST required in lieu of Associates Degree
